2. How can a GCCM help you?
A GCM will assess the medical and social service needs of the
client in order to help individuals to remain as independent as
possible to live in one’s home with help or give other living
options. Provide updated information and simple explanations on
Geriatric conditions.
3. Who pays for GCCM services?
Is there insurance to cover the cost of Private Geriatric Care
Management?
Does Medicare or Medicaid pay for Private Geriatric Care Management?
Unfortunately, no. Services are paid for by the senior and/or
family. However, most long-term care insurance policies will cover
some of the expense.
4. How qualified is a GCCM?
Has to be knowledgeable in health issues and in different aspects
of social services with sufficient experience to provide practical
alternatives and a qualified advise in the aging process. Our
